Cranberry Sauce
Get into the Christmas spirit and make this amazing sauce, the whole house will smell wonderfully Christmassy. This recipe is quite rich and boozy. If you prefer not to use alcohol, you can replace this with water.

500g cranberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cooking apple, diced
100ml Port
75ml brandy
Zest of 2 oranges
Ā½ tsp allspice
150g sugar or erythritol if sugar-free
2 cinnamon sticks
Place the ingredients into a saucepan and pop onto a low/medium heat.
Cook slowly until the apple softens and the cranberries start to gently pop when pushed.
Remove the cinnamon sticks. Place in serving dish or in sterilised jars until ready to use.
