Sarah Flower is a qualified Nutritionist and Iridologist as well as an experienced journalist and writer.
I was senior nutritionist for a cancer charity, travelling around the country and Europe. My work involved in ongoing training of the practitioners and patients, production of recipe books, and editor of the health newsletter.
I ceased working to have my second son. I then changed direction and worked as an advisor for a supplement company, working with PR & Marketing as well as advising customers on the correct supplements.
In 2005 I set up my own health magazine Tonic, which soon developed into a monthly glossy magazine, incorporating lifestyle, health, beauty, fashion and green living. This sold in WHSmiths, Sainsburys, Tesco's, Asda and a wide range of newsagents. Sadly, Tonic closed after just over one year due lack of funding.
My passion for writing continued, and I started to build up a freelance career. I have also been fortunate enough to have books published in 2009 and 2010. I hope this career continues. See the online store (click on the left hand side bar) for more information on my books.
I am also columnist for My Weekly (Live More, Spend Less money saving column). Natural Health columnist for Kindred Spirit Magazine, and currently starting new Ethical Money Saving Column for Kindred Spirit. Freelance for various titles and my work has appeared in Glamour, Green Parent, Prima, Slim at Home and more.
